How does telehealth work on Sanzu?


On Sanzu, treaters can offer telehealth services alongside in-person consultations. When setting up your services, you'll have the option to activate telehealth. To do so, click on 'Telehealth' during the Treater Services setup, specify the duration of your telehealth appointments, and set your desired price in CHF. Clients can then view and book available telehealth appointments with you directly through the platform.


 

What equipment do I need for telehealth appointments?


For telehealth appointments, you need:


  • A computer, laptop, or smartphone with a camera and microphone.

  • An internet connection.

  • A quiet and well-lit room to ensure the patient can see and hear you clearly.

  • Your Sanzu Web Portal or App




Can clients book telemedicine appointments with me directly?


Yes, clients can directly book telemedicine appointments with you on Sanzu. When you activate and set up your telehealth services, these slots become available for clients to view and book as per your specified availability.



How can I extend a telehealth appointment if needed?


At the moment, Sanzu doesn't allow in-session appointment extensions. We're actively working to introduce this feature. Until then, it might be necessary to arrange a subsequent session to continue consultations.




What are some best practices for conducting a successful telehealth appointment?


Here are some helpful tips for telehealth appointments: 

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet environment.

  • Maintain eye contact and speak clearly.

  • Have a structured approach to the session, starting with a brief and ending with a summary or next steps.

  • Be empathetic and patient, understanding that some clients may be new to telehealth appointments.

  • Always document consultations using Notes in Sanzu for reference.





How do I handle technical difficulties during a telehealth appointment?


If you encounter technical difficulties, please try to restart the application. You can rejoin the same session after the restart. You can ask the patient to do the same if they're experiencing issues. Always ensure that both parties have a stable internet connection. If issues still persist, please contact our customer support at support@sanzu.ch.



Can I offer both in-person and telehealth services?


Absolutely! On Sanzu, when setting up your Treater Services, you have the option to select both 'In-Person' and 'Telehealth'. By activating both, clients will see both types of services available for booking.





Can I charge different rates for telehealth and in-person appointments?


Yes, on Sanzu, you have the flexibility to set different rates. When setting up your services, you can specify a price in CHF for your telehealth appointments and a different rate for in-person services, allowing you to adjust based on the nature and demands of each service type.
